Difficulty Level: Moderate to Advanaced
Expect rolling coastal roads, sweeping cliffside sweeping descents, and winding climbs through granite mountain passes. Roads across both islands are generally well-paved and quiet, with daily routes taking full advantage of low-traffic secondary backroads and dramatic sea views. Daily distances offer flexible options for moderate to ambitious riders, with full GPS navigation, continuous van support, and E-bike availability to ensure everyone rides at their ideal pace.

Itinerary
Day 1: Alghero’s Charm
Ride out to the Capo Caccia and visit the Grotta di Nettuno, the most beautiful sea caverns in Sardinia. Then, surrounded by the impressive medieval defense walls step back in time as you wander through the narrow cobbled streets of sandstone buildings of Alghero’s historical center.
Day 2: Coastal Stronghold & Valley Nuraghe
Ride past small villages, wheat fields and wild flowers within the Valley Nuraghe, home to the islands first inhabitants. Then glide along the coast into the intriguing Castelsardo, one of the islands best kept medieval monuments.
Days 3-4: Costa Smeralda & Local Handicrafts
Explore Costa Smeralda”s enchanting rocky headlands and splendid beaches, bays; an oasis of natural beauty. Then ride within the Island of Maddalena, known for its beautiful pink sand, “faoni” crabs and mussels. Loop to the hilltop town of Tempio Pausania and learn about the fine handicraft, above all for the production of cork, weaving and the working of granite, and the production of Vermentino, wine tasting?
Day 5: Bonifacio
Dolphins lead the way to Bonifacio, Corsica where immense coastal white walls whose layered formation juts out over us and as we port. Enjoy a spectacular bike ride through unspoiled “maquis” (brushland) and explore the lovely world renowned beaches at Piantarella and Santa Manza.
Day 6: The Island’s Green Heart
Days 7-9: Serene Coastal Riding
A continual bellevue through evergreen hills and ancient villages to Filitosa, the island’s most intriguing prehistoric site dating back to the megalithic period. Small, twisty roads bring us along the coast to the gorgeous little village of Porto.
