Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & The Citadel of Neuf Brisach Meet in Strasbourg and transfer to the Citadel of Neuf Brisach, a 17th-century masterpiece of military architecture. We enjoy a gentle warm-up ride to settle into the rhythm of the Alsace wine road. Lodging: Château d’Isenbourg (4-Star).
Day 2: Westhalten & the Grand Crus Our opening rides loop through the tiny, fortified jewels of the wine road like Soultzmatt and Westhalten. Highlight: Cycling through the small roads of the Grand Cru vineyards with the Vosges Mountains as your backdrop. Lodging: Château d’Isenbourg (4-Star).

Day 3: Eguisheim & The Birthplace of Popes We pedal past endless vineyards to reach Eguisheim, the birthplace of Pope Leon IX and the home of Albert Schweitzer. We continue toward Colmar, entering a landscape that feels like a living museum. Highlight: A cooking class with local Chef Raphael to prepare a traditional Alsatian feast. Lodging: Hotel La Maison des Têtes (5-Star).
Day 4: Colmar & “Little Venice” A full day to explore Colmar. We navigate the quiet canals of the Lauch River and the stunning medieval courtyard of our historic hotel. Highlight: Guided walk through the Unterlinden Museum or the “Little Venice” district. Lodging: Hotel La Maison des Têtes (5-Star).

Day 5: The Pagan Wall & Sainte Odile From the fortified villages of Bergheim and Dambach-la-Ville, we climb toward the mysterious “Pagan Wall” surrounding the Sainte Odile convent for panoramic views of the Rhine Valley. Lodging: Hotel Colombier (4-Star).
Day 6: High Castles & Le Struthof A powerful day of history and scenery. We visit the majestic Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle and the moving Le Struthof memorial before a final brewery tour and tasting. Highlight: Farewell dinner in the medieval heart of Obernai. Lodging: Hotel Colombier (4-Star).
