Itinerary
Day 1: Diocletian’s Palace & The Stone of Brač Meet in Split, a UNESCO World Heritage city built within the retirement palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. We embark on an early morning ferry to the Island of Brač. After a bike fitting, we enjoy a warm-up loop through fishing villages famous for stone carving and olive oil, offering incredible views back toward the mainland. Lodging: 4-Star Seaside Hotel, Brač.
Day 2: The “Madeira of the Adriatic” (Hvar Island) We ferry to Hvar, often called the sunniest spot in Europe. After exploring the historic port of Stari Grad, we cycle toward Hvar Town via a quiet, scenic road that overlooks the surrounding archipelago. Lodging: 4-Star Waterfront Hotel, Hvar Town (2 Nights).
Day 3: Lavender Roads & Mile’s Private Cellar Today we pedal through the fragrant “Lavender Road” and visit ancient wine-making villages. A highlight of the trip is an exclusive visit to a private winemaker’s residence. This isn’t a typical commercial tasting—Mile’s cellar is a legendary local experience that brings the island’s history to life.
Highlight: Private wine tasting at a local’s estate.
Day 4: Korčula: The Jewel of the Adriatic A private boat or ferry brings us to Korčula, the reputed birthplace of Marco Polo. We ride the length of this emerald island through Aleppo pine forests and medieval hamlets. Korčula is Croatia’s most prolific wine region, and the riding here is balanced by constant sea breezes. Lodging: 4-Star Boutique Hotel along the Pelješac coast (2 Nights).
Day 5: Marco Polo’s Streets & Coastal Loops Explore the “fishbone” streets of Korčula’s walled Old Town, designed to protect citizens from the wind. Our ride today crisscrosses the island, visiting secluded coves for a midday swim before a guided tour of the medieval center.
Day 6: The Pelješac Peninsula & The Origin of Zinfandel We ride down the Pelješac Peninsula, a dramatic coastal stretch where vineyards cling to steep limestone slopes. We stop to sample local reds and learn about the DNA connection between these grapes and California Zinfandel. We finish the day passing the “Great Walls” of Ston before arriving in Dubrovnik. Highlight: Farewell feast in the “Pearl of the Adriatic.” Lodging: 5-Star Waterfront Luxury, Dubrovnik.
Day 7: Dubrovnik & Departure Enjoy a private city tour of Dubrovnik’s UNESCO-listed Old Town before we provide transfers to the airport or your next destination.
