JULY 1ST Day 2 52km/1100m : Warm up ride: You warm up on the way to the town of Grad where your first climb of the tour starts – Krvavec Climb is one of the most famous climbs in the area, featured several times in the Tour of Slovenia.
JULY 2 Day 3 120km/ 2300m: Jezersko Valley. Commence your day with a gentle ascent that unveils the verdant, natural expanse of Jezersko. Pause at the local bar nestled on the shores of the once glacier-fed Planšarsko Lake, where a mandatory coffee stop invites you to soak in the serene surroundings. Following this short refreshment, the ascent continues, leading you to the summit where the border with Austria awaits. Descend from the summit, swiftly returning to Slovenian terrain, and brace yourself for a thrilling ride through steep switchbacks on the panoramic road. This journey leads you to the renowned and stunning Logar Valley, where a well-deserved lunch break awaits amidst the breathtaking scenery. Our scenic loop adventure unfolds as we make our way to the enchanting Lake Bohinj, traversing the peaceful village of Stara Fužina and setting the stage for the looming ascent towards Pokljuka.The climb to Pokljuka, meandering through lush forests and meadows, offers a feast for the eyes with expansive vistas of rolling hills and picturesque valleys. JULY 5 Day 6 65km/700m: Bled Loop, Visiting Vintner Gorge at the end of the loop.The Radovna river cuts the Vintgar gorge deep between the hills of Hom and Boršt. It is flanked by steep slopes overgrown with beech forests. Locals have always viewed the gorge with awe and respect. It was discovered in 1891 by Mr Jakob Žumer, the mayor of Gorje, and Mr Benedikt Lergetporer, a cartographer and photographer from Bled. Both were amazed by the beauty and the mysterious character of this natural attraction.

JULY 6 Day 7: Vršič Pass 80km/1500m.
Today we ride through the serene roads of Triglav National Park, commencing your journey to the quaint town of Kranjska Gora. Here, the day's pièce de résistance awaits – the ascent of the iconic Vršič Pass. This nearly 10-kilometer climb, featuring an average gradient of 8%, unfolds like a challenging tapestry against the backdrop of the Julian Alps.Known as the "Russian Road," this historic pass bears witness to its origin, having been constructed by Russian prisoners during the First World War. JULY 9 Day 10: The Kolovrat Climb. 93km/1500m Today we depart Bovec and Ride into the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Our ride takes us over the Kolovrat climb 10km@9% that featured in the 2022 edition of the Giro D'Italia. This climb, a new acquaintance to the Giro d'Italia, culminates at 1,162 metres atop the Kolovrat, a mountain ridge in the easternmost corner of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, on the border with Slovenia.

Today we navigate over a hundred kilometers through the enchanting villages and awe-inspiring ravines that grace the landscape. Our cycling adventure kicks off in the heart of Ljubljana, swiftly ushering you away from the bustling urban landscape and into the embrace of the countryside. Our route unfolds across the southern Polhov Gradec Dolomites, a pre-alpine hilly expanse to the west of Ljubljana, known for hosting the prestigious Franja Marathon race. Pedaling through this picturesque landscape, you'll witness the beauty that has graced many cycling enthusiasts during this renowned event.
